Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yong Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geralt Of Rivia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright's entrance music is Neon Indian - Slumlord. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Of Rivia.
Wright seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jab, jab by Of Rivia - just one landing.
Of Rivia scores with the left hand. Wright knows he should have avoided that one.
Of Rivia lands with a kick to the ribs.

Of Rivia throws out a loose jab but Wright uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wright misses with a right hand
and Of Rivia counters with a good low kick that Wright was not able to check.
Wright shoots in and drives through. Of Rivia sprawls well.
Of Rivia was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Of Rivia walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wright checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Of Rivia throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wright on the side of the head.
Of Rivia takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Of Rivia looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wright throws a hook but Of Rivia avoids it easily.

Wright throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Of Rivia sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Of Rivia moves out of range as Wright strikes.
Wright takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fighters circling - Wright throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Wright uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Of Rivia.
Geralt Of Rivia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Of Rivia counters with a stiff right hand.
Wright on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A big right from Of Rivia misses.
Of Rivia sizes up Wright with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wright throws an off balance right hand
and Wright takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That kick from Of Rivia tenderised Wright's leg. Wright is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oh Wright is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Of Rivia swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Wright misses with a takedown attempt
and Of Rivia counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wright thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wright seems to have got his legs back now.
Wright throws the left hand but Of Rivia avoids the punch easily.
Of Rivia lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Of Rivia pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wright is out of range and Of Rivia settles back down.
Yong Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright shoots in looking for a takedown but Of Rivia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wright's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yong Wright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wright takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Of Rivia throws a body punch but Wright moves out of range.
It looked like Wright wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Of Rivia has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Of Rivia throws a shot from downtown. Wright moves away and avoids it.

Of Rivia throws out a counter right but Wright avoids it with no problem.
Of Rivia is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wright had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Of Rivia throws a nice inside leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Wright 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Of Rivia cracks Wright with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wright tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Of Rivia pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wright is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Geralt Of Rivia was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
