Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shivananda Ganeshalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Active Serial Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer tries to clinch but Ganeshalo moves out of range.
Killer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ganeshalo blocks a head kick by Killer.
Killer is looking to clinch but Ganeshalo is avoiding it.
Ganeshalo swats away the attempt to clinch by Killer.
Ganeshalo attempts a counter takedown but Killer avoids it well and moves away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ganeshalo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killer covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Killer is trying to get back to his feet but Ganeshalo has full control of the position and if anything, Killer has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Killer wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
Killer seems to have recovered his senses.
Killer grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

I really don't envy Killer right now.
Ganeshalo is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Killer up.
Ganeshalo cracks Killer with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Killer from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Ganeshalo tries to keep control of the position but Killer is staying busy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The referee is taking a good look at Killer as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Ganeshalo!
Ganeshalo lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Killer hold on?!
Ganeshalo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ganeshalo is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ganeshalo gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ganeshalo gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ganeshalo apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Killer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ganeshalo circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Killer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Killer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ganeshalo drops down looking for a counter takedown but Killer sprawls and moves away.

Shivananda Ganeshalo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Active Serial Killer.
Ganeshalo swats away the attempt to clinch by Killer.
Ganeshalo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Killer.

and Ganeshalo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Killer's guard.
Killer wants to hit a switch here but Ganeshalo passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Killer there!
Killer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Killer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
