Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tinky Winky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinky Winky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox stuffs the takedown.
Maddox tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Winky or perhaps it was just good defense by Maddox, which made it look bad.
Maddox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Winky moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Maddox is defended easily by Winky.

Winky gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winky avoiding damage.
Maddox is pressed up against the cage. Winky has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maddox down to the mat. Maddox avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tinky Winky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maddox shoots in and drives through. Winky sprawls well.

Winky dives in and grabs Maddox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maddox pushes down on Winky's head and hops out.

and Winky makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Maddox wants to clinch up but Winky keeps it at a distance.

and Winky counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Maddox thinking.
Maddox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Winky swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Winky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maddox sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Winky somewhat.

Winky closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Winky lands in his opponent's guard.

Maddox is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Maddox doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maddox is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Winky throws a big elbow that misses.

Maddox is trying to hold Winky in close to prevent damage but Winky has managed to pass into half guard.

Maddox dives in for a single leg takedown but Winky sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Winky forces Maddox back against the cage and clinches.

Winky decides to pull guard.

Winky pushes a forearm under Maddox's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Maddox is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
