Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowlsbt wants to clinch up but Sledge keeps it at a distance.
Bowlsbt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sledge counters with a three punch combo that has Bowlsbt backing up. Bowlsbt nods at Sledge to acknowledge the strikes.
Bowlsbt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sledge looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bowlsbt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sledge paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sledge seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

As Sledge backs off Bowlsbt throws a huge counter combo but Sledge manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bowlsbt is looking to stand back up but Sledge counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bowlsbt.

Sledge wants to finish this one by submission but Bowlsbt is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sledge.

Bowlsbt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sledge. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sledge is working for a rear naked choke. Bowlsbt is not defending it well and Sledge has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Bowlsbt refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bowlsbt's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
