Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lang's choice of entrance music: Cemetary Gates. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Lang!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Taylor blocks a low kick nicely.
Some wild striking there from Lang.
Lang swinging wilding here.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lang goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Taylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lang to the mat! Lang manages to get full guard.
Lang thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Taylor wants to stand but Lang is controlling his posture from full guard.

Lang shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Lang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Taylor jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lang is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lang and Taylor has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Taylor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lang sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Taylor wants to stand but Lang has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Taylor thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lang's head.

Taylor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
