The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cricket throws a lazy right hand but Nedram sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nedram throws a nice looking combination but Cricket bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cricket throws a counter high kick but Nedram was just alert enough to avoid it.
Cricket misses the shot to the body.
Cricket misses with a body kick.
Cricket tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nedram throws a head kick that misses
and Cricket counters with a straight right hand.
Nedram misses with a series of wild punches.
Nedram stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cricket.
Nedram attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Cricket avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nedram misses with a left hand
and Cricket counters with a low kick, right behind Nedram 's knee.
A punch combination from Nedram misses.
Cricket scores with a sloppy right hand. Nedram should have avoided that one.
Cricket lands a two punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cricket motions for Nedram to come forward. Cricket throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nedram looks to land a combination but Cricket avoids it well.
Cricket pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Cricket. That snapped Nedram's head back.

Nedram takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cricket throws a jab when Nedram was well out of range.
Nedram throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nedram looks up at the clock. Bad move! Cricket lands a right hand from hell, dropping Nedram. Cricket pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Rick Cricket was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
