Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter Rothko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter Rothko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Rothko !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Robbins!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robbins is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rothko 's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robbins trying to control from half guard but Rothko is working away.
Rothko controlling the position for now.
Robbins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rothko . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rothko wants to improve his position but Robbins is controlling well.
Rothko trying to control but Robbins postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rothko is refusing to be controlled, as Robbins sits in half guard.
Robbins stalling away here and it's allowed Rothko to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Robbins wants to control from the top but Rothko keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Robbins looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rothko !

Robbins seems to be looking for submissions.

Robbins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rothko wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Rothko closes the distance and clinches.
Robbins fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Robbins trying to stall but Rothko improves his position.

Robbins pulls guard successfully.
Rothko is looking to work some ground and pound but Robbins has wrist control.
Rothko won't allow Robbins to sweep him here.
Robbins can't keep his opponent in guard - Rothko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Rothko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Robbins is trying to maintain the position but Rothko is very close to passing his half guard.
Rothko frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rothko throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Robbins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Robbins is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walter Rothko dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rothko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Robbins clinches up against the cage.
Rothko keeps control of Robbins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Rothko 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rothko tries to sprawl but Robbins drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Rothko makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robbins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Robbins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Robbins is looking for a kimura here.
Robbins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rothko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Rothko is trying to control but can't.
Robbins trying to control from Rothko 's half guard. Rothko has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Rothko throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Robbins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rothko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Robbins is looking to clinch but Rothko is avoiding it.
Rothko connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Robbins tumbling to the canvas! Rothko pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Robbins was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Walter Rothko !
