Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries for a takedown but Banner circles away easily
and Banner counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Banner throws a head kick that King semi-blocks.
King has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Banner.

and Banner counters with a nice leg kick.
Banner lands a head kick!
King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banner sprawls well. Banner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.
Lamont Banner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sung King.

King throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banner's waist but Banner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing King off to one side.

Banner seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

As King backs away, Banner returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Banner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
King closes the distance and clinches up with Banner, looking for a takedown. King pushes Banner against the cage but Banner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Banner fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and King has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Banner as he jumps to the side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Banner.

King's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

King shoots in looking for a takedown but Banner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
King has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Banner finds it's way round the side to connect with King's head.
King needs to keep his hands up - Banner had a free shot at his head there.

Banner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Banner wants it to stay on the feet.
Banner looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

and Banner counters with a nice low kick that buckles King's knee momentarily.

and Banner counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A punch lands to the side of King 's head but he takes it in his stride.
King is trying desperately to land a takedown but Banner is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for King.
Horrible takedown attempt by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Banner, which made it look bad.
King looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Banner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

King is rocked!
King shoots in looking for a takedown. Banner tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Banner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
King is still on wobbly legs! Can Banner finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

King finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Banner's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and King falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lamont Banner!
Lamont Banner tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
