The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinlet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sinlet with the counter takedown but Geriosa avoids it easily.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Sinlet drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Let's hope that Sinlet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Sinlet seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Geriosa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Geriosa wants to stand and escape but Sinlet is having none of it.

Geriosa has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Sinlet is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Sinlet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Geriosa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sinlet shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Geriosa as he jumps to the side.

Geriosa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sinlet's guard.
