Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wang Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Djalu Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Sepultura - Attitude as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Wang Chung has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wang Chung seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wang Chung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Djalu Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts wants to clinch.
Roberts moves into range and clinches up with Chung.
Chung tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Chung manages to break the clinch.
Roberts stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chung.
Chung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roberts sprawls well. Roberts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chung gets slowly back to his feet.
Djalu Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chung looking to score a takedown here. Roberts is defending well but Chung drives through and ends up in Roberts's guard.
Chung is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Chung has gone for a leg lock! Roberts slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chung's guard.

Roberts wants to stand and escape but instead Chung has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Chung won't allow Roberts to sweep him here.
Chung wants to pass the guard but Roberts is keeping the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Chung with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Roberts checks a leg kick.
Chung sets himself, and Roberts steps forward looking for the clinch! Chung avoids it this time.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chung lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roberts has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roberts and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chung is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wang Chung. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chung tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Roberts avoids it.
Roberts scores with a nice hook to the head.
Roberts works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Chung is breathing heavily.
Roberts softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

It looks like Wang Chung has been cut.
Roberts pushes Chung against the cage. Roberts is working some dirty boxing. Roberts pushes off with a quick right hook! Chung goes down! Chung tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Roberts moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Djalu Roberts!
