Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battistoni throws a predictable looking body shot
and Trujillo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Trujillo. Battistoni does a little dance to reset his feet.
Trujillo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Trujillo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Battistoni connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Battistoni misses the jab.
Trujillo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Battistoni throws a looping overhand right but Trujillo ducks down to avoid it.
Trujillo connects with a solid leg kick.
Carson Battistoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trujillo lands a nice looking body kick.
Battistoni lands with a hook. Trujillo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Battistoni clobbers Trujillo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Battistoni is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Battistoni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trujillo moves away.

Carson Battistoni is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Good leg kick by Trujillo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Trujillo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Trujillo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We've been informed that Trujillo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Battistoni scores with a nice strike.
A nice leg kick lands there from Trujillo.
Battistoni misses with a straight left.
Battistoni throws a body punch but Trujillo moves out of range.
Trujillo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Battistoni swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Trujillo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Battistoni takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Trujillo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters circling - Battistoni throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Trujillo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Battistoni's knee momentarily.

and Trujillo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Trujillo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Battistoni misses with a lunging right hand
and Trujillo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Trujillo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Battistoni misses with a body shot.
Battistoni takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Battistoni is breathing heavily.
Trujillo scoring well with a low kick there.

Despite the aggression on Trujillo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Battistoni swings for the body but Trujillo moves out of range.
Trujillo shoots for a double leg takedown but Battistoni sprawls well. He's pushed Trujillo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Trujillo pushes Battistoni away with a front kick.
Battistoni throws an overhand right that lands on Trujillo's shoulder, as Trujillo tries to avoid the shot.

Trujillo dives in for a single leg takedown but Battistoni sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Battistoni takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Trujillo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Battistoni is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Trujillo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Battistoni paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Trujillo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trujillo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Trujillo drops Battistoni with a left and a right! Oh, Battistoni is hurt - Trujillo dives into side control looking to finish!
Battistoni is rocked!
It looks like Carson Battistoni has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trujillo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Oh Battistoni is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trujillo tries to advance to mount but Battistoni denies him.
Battistoni seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Trujillo has hold of Battistoni's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Battistoni seems comfortable defending it but Trujillo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Battistoni is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Battistoni is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Trujillo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Agustin Trujillo!
