Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jahll Gunacrii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mashrafe Mortaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jahll Gunacrii has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunacrii throws an overhand right that lands on Mortaza's shoulder, as Mortaza tries to avoid the shot.
Mortaza fails with a takedown attempt.
Mortaza tries for a takedown but Gunacrii sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mortaza fails to land the takedown.
Jahll Gunacrii has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mashrafe Mortaza.
Mortaza moves forwards but Gunacrii connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gunacrii lands a glancing blow to the side of Mortaza's head.
Gunacrii lunges at Mortaza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mortaza's hand.
Mortaza takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Mortaza manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gunacrii on his heels. He'll look to pass Gunacrii's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mortaza tries to free his leg and advance position but Gunacrii is retaining full guard.
Mortaza passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mortaza goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gunacrii rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mortaza's guard! Nice work there by Gunacrii!
Gunacrii won't allow Mortaza to sweep him here.

Gunacrii trying to control but Mortaza is working from the bottom.
Gunacrii definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gunacrii looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Gunacrii trying to control the position from guard on top but Mortaza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mortaza pulls Gunacrii in close to prevent any damage.

Mortaza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gunacrii is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mortaza.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mortaza is looking to regain half guard here but Gunacrii keeps moving and retains side control.

Mortaza manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Mortaza regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gunacrii knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mortaza on the ground.

Mortaza is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mortaza seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gunacrii is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
