Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Repetto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tank Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David Repetto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tank Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Repetto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Abbott's waist but Abbott gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Repetto off to one side.
Repetto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Abbott.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Repetto, as that shot connected.
Repetto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Abbott throws out the jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abbott tries to close the distance and clinch but Repetto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that David Repetto will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Tank Abbott.
Well Repetto has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
