Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Conroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Rock!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conroy shoots for a takedown but Rock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rock drives through and clinches with Conroy against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Rock scores with a nice short uppercut.
Rock is trying to break free.
Conroy prevents Rock from breaking the clinch.
Rock lands an uppercut.
Rock has had enough of the clinch but Conroy keeps him there for the moment.

Ken Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Conroy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rock doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Conroy.

Conroy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rock is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rock has escaped and now he's on top!

Conroy throws some wild stikes that Rock manages to avoid easily.

Conroy moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rock has worked his arm free - good work by Rock!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Conroy is stalling here. Rock is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Conroy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rock has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Conroy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rock won't be happy with that.

Conroy in side control, throwing shots but Rock defends.

Conroy misses with the ground and pound.
Ken Rock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rock is not content to let Conroy control the position.
Rock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Conroy asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Conroy tries to advance to mount but Rock instead regains half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Victor Conroy showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conroy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
