Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Desert Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wily Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swagger is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Waylon Jennings - Good Ol' Boys. Wily Swagger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swagger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Swagger feints and as Storm raises his hands in defense, Swagger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Swagger's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Storm working for submissions but it's allowed Swagger to get to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Storm wants to control but Swagger is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Swagger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Swagger has control of Storm 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Storm regains control of the situation pretty easily.
