Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tyzzkling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyzzkling has chosen Dagger (mustasch) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 44 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Tyzzkling!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Watson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyzzkling looks to land a right hand but Owens moved out of range.
Tyzzkling gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Owens to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Owens looking to pass the guard.
Owens wants to control from the top but Tyzzkling keeps moving.
Owens chips away with some ground and pound.
Owens sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owens trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyzzkling is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Owens stops Tyzzkling from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyzzkling keeping moving, preventing Owens from controlling successfully.
Owens definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Owens is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tyzzkling is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Owens accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Owens postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyzzkling is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Owens, into his guard.
Tyzzkling stands and steps away. Owens gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Tyzzkling bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Owens's head backwards.
It looks like Mark Owens has been cut.
Owens fails with a takedown attempt.
Tyzzkling looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Owens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyzzkling sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Owens somewhat.
Mark Owens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyzzkling leaves Owens with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tyzzkling swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Owens. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyzzkling slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Owens shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyzzkling tries to sprawl out of it but Owens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyzzkling manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyzzkling looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Tyzzkling stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tyzzkling wants it to stay on the feet.
A little jabbing left from Tyzzkling on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Owens shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyzzkling tries to sprawl out of it but Owens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyzzkling manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Owens backs off Tyzzkling throws a huge counter combo but Owens manages to avoid it all.
Owens with a lazy takedown attempt
and Owens takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tyzzkling tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Owens was well out of range. Poor timing from Tyzzkling.
Owens misses with a takedown attempt
and Tyzzkling counters with a crisp right hand that drops Owens! Tyzzkling lets Owens back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Owens is rocked!
Mark Owens's cut is getting worse.
Owens is breathing heavily.
Owens doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tyzzkling counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

A very excited looking Peter Tyzzkling made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
