PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Kreuger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gib Nudger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kreuger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "I'm Your Boogie Man" by White Zombie. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nudger takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Gib Nudger has been cut.

Nudger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nudger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nudger looking to control but Kreuger is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kreuger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nudger on the ground.

Nudger is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kreuger has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nudger swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kreuger is now in Nudger's guard. A big mistake from Nudger there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Freddy Kreuger just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Nudger takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nudger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kreuger swivels and escapes.

Freddy Kreuger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nudger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kreuger can pounce on him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kreuger, right into the meat.
Kreuger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nudger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Nudger tries to keep at a distance but Kreuger has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kreuger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kreuger throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Nudger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kreuger's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kreuger moves in looking to clinch but Nudger pushes him off.
Nudger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kreuger.

Kreuger closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Nudger tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kreuger smiles and moves away.
Kreuger throws a leg kick which misses Nudger's front leg but catches the back leg as Nudger tries to avoid it.
Nudger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kreuger is fending him off so far but Nudger persists. Nope, Kreuger circles away and we're back to standing.

Kreuger pushes Nudger up against the cage in a clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nudger's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Kreuger seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

A chopping leg kick lands by Kreuger.
Kreuger dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nudger. That did some damage!
Kreuger throws a shot from downtown. Nudger moves away and avoids it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kreuger lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nudger has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nudger and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gib Nudger's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
