Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jemmy Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronda Rousey!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rousey.
Dean dodges the punch combination from Rousey.

Dean closes the distance and clinches.
Dean stops a takedown attempt from Rousey.
Rousey is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dean is defending well for now.

Rousey pulls guard.
Dean looking to sit in guard and control but Rousey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dean working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rousey.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rousey throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rousey won't allow Dean to sweep him here.
Dean is trying to control the position but Rousey postures up.
Rousey lands a couple of elbows.


It looks like Jemmy Dean has been cut.
Dean is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Bloodsport Gym 16 Elites that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Rousey landing some decent shots from guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean is controlling Rousey's posture.
Rousey is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Dean wants to get back to his feet but Rousey passes into half guard.
Rousey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dean with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rousey throwing shots but Dean is blocking nicely.
Rousey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dean's head.
Rousey is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Rousey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rousey lands strikes from half guard.
Dean pushes Rousey off looking to stand but Rousey dives back in and keeps control.
Rousey scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Rousey scoring with strikes to the body and head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rousey winds up and cracks Dean with a swinging punch to the side of the head.


Dean is rocked!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rousey lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Dean is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rousey seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dean is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ronda Rousey!
During a confident post fight interview, Ronda Rousey thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
