Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jakub Lubanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Run Forcover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jakub Lubanski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Run Forcover!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forcover shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Lubanski to counter with a crisp jab.
Forcover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lubanski's waist but Lubanski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Forcover off to one side.
Lubanski drops down looking for a counter takedown but Forcover sprawls and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Forcover is defended easily by Lubanski.
Jakub Lubanski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Run Forcover.
Forcover misses with a takedown attempt
and Lubanski counters with a right hand to the body.
Lubanski slaps away a takedown attempt from Forcover, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lubanski cracks Forcover with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lubanski stuffs the takedown.
Lubanski was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Lubanski fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Forcover to the ground. Lubanski is now in Forcover's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lubanski postures up.
Forcover can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lubanski controls the pace.

Forcover looking to control.
Forcover has control of Lubanski's left arm, preventing Lubanski from doing any damage.
Lubanski wants to control from the top but Forcover keeps moving.

Forcover is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lubanski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lubanski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Forcover.
Forcover uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lubanski.
Forcover wants to counter the offense by Lubanski and move into the clinch position.
Lubanski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Forcover dives in and grabs Lubanski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lubanski pushes down on Forcover's head and hops out.
A counter left hand to the body from Lubanski misses its target.
Lubanski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Forcover gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lubanski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Forcover dives in and grabs Lubanski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lubanski pushes down on Forcover's head and hops out.
Lubanski bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Forcover's head backwards.
Lubanski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Forcover circles away.
Forcover shoots for a double leg takedown but Lubanski sprawls well. He's pushed Forcover's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Forcover goes for a double leg but Lubanski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lubanski continues to drive forward.
An attempted straight right counter from Lubanski misses the target.
Lubanski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lubanski appears to be looking for a big counter.
Forcover tries for a takedown but Lubanski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Forcover with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lubanski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Forcover shoots in but no luck this time.
Lubanski half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Forcover fails with a takedown attempt.
Lubanski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Forcover fails with the takedown
and Forcover takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


Forcover is rocked!
Forcover fails with the takedown
and Lubanski makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Forcover is still on wobbly legs! Can Lubanski finish him?
Forcover looks winded!
Forcover walks straight into a right hand from Lubanski - that's dropped him! Lubanski jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Forcover from any more punishment! Forcover complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jakub Lubanski!
