PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Moody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zhuo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kung Fu You. Dwight Moody has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moody throws a front kick aimed at Zhuo's knee but Zhuo avoids it well.

Zhuo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Moody uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Moody looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zhuo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Moody is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Zhuo wants to control but Moody is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Zhuo shoots in looking for a takedown. Moody tries to sprawl out of it but Zhuo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moody manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Moody fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zhuo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
