Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Vegata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aydine Antona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antona comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Laid to Rest by Lamb of God kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Aydine Antona enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antona tries to bum rush Vegata with a series of wild strikes but Vegata uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Antona keeps the fight on the outside.
Antona lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Vegata wants to clinch but Antona slips to the side
and Antona counters with a thumping low kick.
Antona attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A clash of legs there as Vegata blocks the low kick.

Vegata swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Antona feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vegatas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Antona shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
As Antona tries to get set, Vegata tries to push him back and clinch up but Antona manages to avoid the attempt.
Antona has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vegata uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Antona.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Antona has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vegata uses from the top position.
