Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jax Teller!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brown looks to land a combination but Teller avoids it well.
Brown throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Brown fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brown tries to bum rush Teller with a series of wild strikes but Teller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Teller closes the distance and pushes Brown back into the cage.
Teller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brown just stands there and leans against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Teller - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Teller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Brown avoids it.
Teller is trying to break free.

Teller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
Brown fails with a takedown attempt.

Nice uppercut lands for Brown. That snapped Teller's head back.
Brown lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Jax Teller has been cut.

Teller drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.
Teller lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Teller breaks the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Teller or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown, which made it look bad.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Teller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Teller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Brown seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Teller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Teller fails to pull guard.
Dave Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jax Teller.

Brown looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Teller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Brown avoiding damage.
Teller tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Teller throws a punch but it's blocked by Brown.
Teller goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A punch combination from Teller misses.
Brown defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Teller.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Brown duly obliges.
Brown works over Teller's head and body with a nice combination.
Teller circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brown scores with a decent looking hook.

That has opened up Jax Teller's cut even more.
Brown is looking to clinch but Teller is avoiding it.

Brown darts in trying to clinch
and Teller counters with a series of strikes. Brown will be more careful next time no doubt.
Teller shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Teller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Teller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Teller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brown somewhat.
Brown's corner calls for a 1-2. Brown obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brown throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Brown has managed to clinch.

Teller gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown trying to hold on to Teller's head to control him but Teller postures up.

Brown is looking for a sweep. Teller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Teller frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Teller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape.
Teller lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Brown wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Teller has the hooks in. Brown is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dave Brown dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jax Teller's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brown misses with a double jab.
Brown lands a jab-cross combination.
Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Teller can do to turn this around?
Brown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Teller's head.
Teller takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Teller doesn't seem phased though.

The cut above Jax Teller's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Teller works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Teller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage!
Teller throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Teller scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown scores with a nice head shot.
Brown buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Teller gets tackled into the cage by Brown. Brown maintains the clinch.
Brown wants to stall.
Teller jumps guard but Brown stands there with Teller around his waist. Teller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Teller doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Teller lands a hook to the side of the head.
Teller prevents Brown from breaking the clinch.
Brown gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Teller.
Teller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brown smiles and moves away.
Dave Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jax Teller.
Teller is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Brown.
Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Teller counters with a left and a right that stings Brown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teller shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Jax Teller's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jax Teller's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Dave Brown thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
