The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Old takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kennedy throws a right and a left that Old avoids nicely.
Old is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Old shoots in and gets a takedown into Kennedy's guard.

Kennedy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Old has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kennedy has managed to get both his arms back between Old's legs - danger averted.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kennedy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Old working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kennedy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kennedy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kennedy feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Old crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
