Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Bwarnt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Batty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batty has chosen I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Bwarnt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Batty!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batty pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
It looked like Bwarnt wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bwarnt moves out of range of the strikes.
Batty lands with a cross.
A jab from Batty misses.
Bwarnt throwing a counter right hand but Batty manages to avoid it.
Bwarnt misses with a body shot.

and Batty counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

It looks like Roy Batty has been cut.
Bwarnt has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $700 fee) in the buildup to the fight.
Batty lands with a good body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batty connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bwarnt. Bwarnt circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Batty's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bwarnt under the eye.

Roy Batty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bwarnt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Batty is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bwarnt had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bwarnt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Batty uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bwarnt.
Batty connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bwarnt's hands.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Batty misses with a looping left.
Bwarnt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Batty jabs at Bwarnt's body.
Batty throws a looping overhand right but Bwarnt ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Batty lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bwarnt doesn't seem phased though.
Batty lands a right hook to the body.
Bwarnt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bwarnt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Batty.
Bwarnt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Batty takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bwarnt missing with a left hand there. Batty was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bwarnt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Batty manages to avoid it.

and Bwarnt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bwarnt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Bwarnt was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Batty.
Bwarnt ducks right into an uppercut from Batty.
Batty comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batty cracks Bwarnt with a right hand to the side of the head.
Batty throws a lazy uppercut
letting Bwarnt counter with a right hand.
Batty scores with a one two! Bwarnt had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Batty closes the distance and clinches up with Bwarnt, looking for a takedown. Batty pushes Bwarnt against the cage but Bwarnt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Batty scores with the left hand. Bwarnt knows he should have avoided that one.
Batty throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bwarnt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Bwarnt lands a stunning uppercut that sends Batty to the mat!


Batty is rocked!
Bwarnt is keen to just control but Batty is a slippery customer.
Batty is still in real trouble! Can Bwarnt finish him?
Batty wants to improve his position but Bwarnt is controlling well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bwarnt is thwarting Batty's attempts to control the position.
Bwarnt wants to control but Batty is keeping him busy.
Batty tries to get to full guard but Bwarnt has control of the leg.

Batty seems to have recovered his senses.
Bwarnt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Batty knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Batty moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Batty is pulling down on Bwarnt's head. It's preventing any offense from Bwarnt, at least for the moment.

Bwarnt stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Batty thuds a left hand into Bwarnt's body.
Batty changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Batty has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bwarnt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Batty looks to land a right hand but Bwarnt moved out of range.

Bwarnt tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Batty counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Batty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Batty won't allow Bwarnt to get back to his feet.
Batty stays in close to Bwarnt's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bwarnt wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Batty manages to pass to side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Batty takes a swing at Bwarnt's ribcage but misses.
Bwarnt is looking to counter punch.
Batty lands a nice looking body shot.

Bwarnt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bwarnt misses with an uppercut. Batty saw that one coming.
Batty throws the left hand but Bwarnt avoids the punch easily.
Bwarnt was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Bwarnt wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Batty is trying to get an arm triangle but Bwarnt is defending well.
Bwarnt is trying to buck Batty off.
Batty happy to just control the position for now.

Bwarnt is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Batty is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bwarnt's shoulder. That is not cool.

Batty tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Bwarnt throws Batty to one side and escapes!

Bwarnt takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Batty lands with a nice body punch.
Bwarnt tries to clinch there but Batty circles away.
Batty scores with a jab. Bwarnt acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Batty cracks Bwarnt with a right hand to the side of the head.

Batty swats away the attempt to clinch by Bwarnt.

Batty missing with a left hand there. Bwarnt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fighters circling - Batty throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bwarnt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bwarnt closes the distance looking to clinch
and Batty counters with a nice body shot.
Lee Bwarnt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Batty connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bwarnt momentarily.
Bwarnt stuffs the takedown.
Lee Bwarnt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Batty.
Batty throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bwarnt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Bwarnt on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Batty ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Roy Batty comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Batty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
