The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avengers throws a left and a right that both miss

and Richards counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Avengers kicks off Richards and gets to his feet.
Richards looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Richards walks into a jab.

Avengers gets a clinch.
A body shot lands from Avengers.
Richards is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Avengers is defending well.

Avengers breaks the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Avengers thuds his right hand into Richards's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Avengers connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Richards momentarily.

Avengers clinches.
Avengers makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Avengers has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Avengers lands a left hand.

Richards is rocked!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Oh Richards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Avengers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Richards backwards.
Avengers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Richards backwards.
Richards tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Avengers just stands there and leans against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Avengers.
Avengers is trying to break the clinch but Richards has him pressed against the cage.
Avengers lands with a light punch inside.
Avengers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Avengers lands with a left to the head.
Avengers creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Richards with a big uppercut! Richards tries to clinch up but Avengers pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Richards to the mat! Richards covers up and Avengers unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
