Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joao Miyao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wincent Montag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wincent Montag is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Montag defends well and Miyao ends up having to push Montag into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Montag takes a swing at Miyao's ribcage but misses.

Miyao shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Montag is trying to defend but Miyao finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Montag pushes Miyao off but Miyao dives into side control.
Miyao controls the position.
Montag tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miyao wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montag tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Miyao easily slips into full mount!
Montag is wriggling around trying to escape.

Montag has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Miyao's lack of action.
Miyao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Montag is holding on to half guard well.
Montag tries to roll over but Miyao keeps him under control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Montag shoots in looking for a takedown but Miyao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Montag's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Miyao looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Montag!
Montag is looking to get back to his feet here but Miyao is keeping cool and he's managed to take Montag's back.

Montag is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Miyao off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Miyao is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
