Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mayo Kermode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane has chosen Jesus Built My Hotrod as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane misses with a body kick.
Kermode swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
McClane takes a swing at Kermode's ribcage but misses.
Kermode swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McClane.
McClane misses with a hook. Kermode ducked under it nicely.
Kermode throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McClane is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kermode.

McClane appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kermode digs a good body shot into McClane's ribs.

That has opened up John McClane's cut even more.
McClane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kermode.
Kermode seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

McClane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kermode's sensitive parts.

Kermode rushes McClane and presses him up against the cage.
Kermode using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McClane has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Kermode pushes McClane back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

McClane manages to break the clinch.
John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McClane has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kermode finds it's way round the side to connect with McClane's head.

The cut above John McClane's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McClane throws a leg kick but Kermode sees it coming and moves out of range.
McClane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McClane changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kermode scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McClane lands a nice hook to Kermode's body. Kermode takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McClane swats away the attempt to clinch by Kermode.
McClane fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kermode is out of range.
Kermode feinted there with a counter leg kick.
McClane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kermode. That did some damage!

Kermode closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McClane's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
McClane blocking some punches.

Kermode lands an elbow that stopped McClane in his tracks for a moment.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John McClane's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mayo Kermode!
An out of breath Mayo Kermode thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, John McClane stepped up to the mic, saying 'Dingy dingy son of a gun...'.
