Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Little Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black Diaz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Diaz controls Rick momentarily but Rick frees himself.
Diaz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rick controls the pace.
Rick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rick is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Diaz is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
