Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Violentia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Hofstadter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hofstadter looks to score with a jab to the body but Violentia is just out of range.

Hofstadter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Violentia tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hofstadter is in Violentia's guard.

Violentia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hofstadter shoots in looking for a takedown. Violentia tries to sprawl out of it but Hofstadter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Violentia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hofstadter or perhaps it was just good defense by Violentia, which made it look bad.
