Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alen Zalac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalac has chosen Survival - Eminem as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Alen Zalac enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zalac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zalac showed some decent athleticism there.

Shaw makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Shaw gets caught flat footed, as Zalac shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Zalac throws a big elbow that misses.

Shaw looking for a guillotine here but Zalac defends easily.
Zalac stops Shaw from standing up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shaw controls Zalac momentarily but Zalac frees himself.
Zalac prevents Shaw from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zalac is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zalac postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Shaw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zalac drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Zalac as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Shaw screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Zalac! Nice submission victory there!

A relieved looking Alen Zalac thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
