Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tad Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgos Kehagias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giorgos Kehagias has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tad Sanders's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tad Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giorgos Kehagias!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kehagias darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kehagias trying to control the action but Sanders is working from the bottom.
Sanders is looking to control Kehagias's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanders avoid being mounted?
Sanders is refusing to be controlled, as Kehagias sits in half guard.
Sanders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kehagias is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sanders has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kehagias trying to advance position but Sanders counters by regaining guard.
Kehagias trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kehagias in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kehagias won't allow Sanders to sweep him here.
Kehagias trying to control but Sanders is working from the bottom.
Kehagias landing some decent shots from guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sanders has Kehagias pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kehagias stands up over Sanders, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kehagias pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanders is keeping the position for now.
Kehagias wants to control from the top but Sanders keeps moving.
Kehagias postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sanders has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kehagias can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kehagias throws a right hand that Sanders ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanders also avoids with ease.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kehagias.

Sanders explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Sanders moves out of range of the body kick from Kehagias.

Kehagias drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sanders manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sanders successfully pulls guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sanders wants to sweep here but Kehagias controlling him for the moment.
Sanders has momentary wrist control but Kehagias slips an elbow through the middle.
Kehagias stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sanders has a closed guard, preventing Kehagias from standing up.

Kehagias decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sanders, up you get!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kehagias bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sanders explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tad Sanders will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kehagias will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanders shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kehagias defends it nicely.

Kehagias closes the distance and clinches.
Kehagias wants to get back to striking at distance but Sanders won't allow it.

Kehagias has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sanders is trying to keep an underhook but Kehagias manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Sanders has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kehagias is on him like a limpet, forcing Sanders back against the cage.
Sanders prevents Kehagias from breaking the clinch.

Kehagias ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kehagias no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sanders controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sanders stands and steps away. Kehagias gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kehagias throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sanders tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kehagias is in Sanders's guard.

Sanders is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kehagias lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Sanders kicks off Kehagias and gets to his feet.
Kehagias is breathing heavily.

Kehagias closes the distance and clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kehagias successfully pulls guard.
Kehagias is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanders is controlling him.
Kehagias working a defensive guard but Sanders passes into half guard.

Sanders stands up from half guard.
Kehagias throws a head kick that misses
and Sanders counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Sanders gets caught napping as Kehagias dives in and scores a takedown. Sanders manages to retain guard.

Sanders wriggles free and stands up.
Sanders is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kehagias can do to turn this around?

Kehagias scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Sanders bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kehagias shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sanders's guard.

Sanders scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kehagias misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sanders wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Kehagias manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sanders on his heels. He'll look to pass Sanders's guard now, I'm sure.

Sanders manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tad Sanders dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Sanders shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sanders was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kehagias wants to control but Sanders postures up.

Sanders decides to stand back up. Sanders steps back and let's Kehagias get back to his feet.

Sanders decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kehagias takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sanders gets tackled into the cage by Kehagias. Kehagias maintains the clinch.

Sanders tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sanders successfully pulls guard.
Sanders keeping moving, preventing Kehagias from controlling successfully.
Kehagias forces his way into half guard.
Sanders tries to roll over but Kehagias keeps him under control.
Sanders on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Sanders is refusing to be controlled, as Kehagias sits in half guard.

Kehagias seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sanders is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
