PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Escrima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Project Falcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escrima comes into the arena with Bamboleo blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Escrima fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Falcon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Escrima was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Escrima is stalling here. Falcon is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Escrima seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Falcon has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Falcon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Falcon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Escrima.

As Falcon tries to get set, Escrima tries to push him back and clinch up but Falcon manages to avoid the attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Falcon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Escrima.
Oh Escrima is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Falcon lands a slapping body shot.

A close second round but Project Falcon will probably get the nod - 10:9.
