Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamahl Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blockbuster Night Pt. 1. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamahl Jones!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids the body shot from Kane.

Kane forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Kane is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Kane has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Kane dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kane working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jones trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Kane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jones is controlling an arm, preventing Kane from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Kane landing punches.

It looks like Jamahl Jones has been cut.
Kane controlling the pace for now.

Kane jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jones manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Jones seems a little lost for a moment, as Kane dominates the positioning.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Kane is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jones is trying to escape and Kane transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jones is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kane! Very nice indeed!

An out of breath Derek Kane thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
