Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malcolm Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Billick gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reynolds wants to break free but Billick has control.
Reynolds wants to get back to striking at distance but Billick won't allow it.
Reynolds wants to break the clinch but can't.
Reynolds tries to break the clinch but Billick is controlling the position.
Reynolds wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Billick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reynolds just stands there and leans against the cage.
Reynolds wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Billick has him pressed against the cage.
Billick keeps control of Reynolds as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Reynolds wants to get back to striking at distance but Billick won't allow it.

Billick tightens his grip and picks Reynolds up, before dumping him to the ground. Reynolds manages to land in guard.
Reynolds utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Reynolds wants to get back to his feet but Billick is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reynolds had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Billick is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Reynolds Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Billick's back instead.
I really don't envy Billick right now.
Billick trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Billick is in bad spot here.
Billick covering up well under a series of strikes from Reynolds.
Billick tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Reynolds working for a guillotine from mount but Billick is in no mood to give up.

Reynolds is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Billick can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Billick is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Billick is looking to improve his position but Reynolds isn't that keen on the idea.

Reynolds wants to take his opponent's back but Billick doesn't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Billick gets back to half guard.
Billick is trying to stand back up but Reynolds is controlling him
Billick is trying to maintain the position but Reynolds is very close to passing his half guard.
Billick avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reynolds.
Reynolds has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Billick can't escape the position.
Billick might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Reynolds looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Malcolm Reynolds dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Reynolds shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Reynolds looks to score with a jab to the body but Billick is just out of range.
Billick avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Billick takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Billick scores with a takedown into Reynolds's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reynolds looking to hit a scissor sweep but Billick is one step ahead there.
Billick lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Reynolds manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Billick manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Billick will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Reynolds avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reynolds advances position into side control!
Reynolds misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Reynolds has knee on belly and moves into mount.
A nice elbow there by Reynolds.
Reynolds moves to back control.
Reynolds throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Billick tries to break free.

Reynolds has his arm under Billick's chin here. Game over son! Reynolds squeezes tightly and Billick is forced to tap out!
