Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alex Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doyle closes the distance and clinches.
Coleman misses with a knee to the head.
Coleman can't get the takedown.
Doyle lands a good knee to the midsection. Coleman won't want to take too many of those.
Coleman takes an elbow to the forehead.


It looks like Alex Coleman has been cut.

Let's hope that Coleman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Doyle holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Doyle changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Doyle shoots in looking for a takedown. Coleman tries to sprawl out of it but Doyle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coleman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Doyle is on top in guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Coleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doyle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Coleman is looking to stand up but Doyle isn't so interested in that idea.

You can see the frustration on Doyle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Coleman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
