PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Videogamehero Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figueroa has chosen my way as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Figueroa forces Blackwell back against the cage and clinches.

Blackwell gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Blackwell thows a huge punch but Figueroa dodges it nicely.
Blackwell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are battling for position here. Figueroa manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Figueroa wants to get back to his feet but Blackwell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Figueroa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Blackwell manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Figueroa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Figueroa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blackwell is just riding it out for now. Figueroa eventually gives up the hold.

Figueroa throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Blackwell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Figueroa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Blackwell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Blackwell.
Blackwell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Figueroa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well Figueroa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
