Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Blyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blyer comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. Rocky Blyer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 40 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rocky Blyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Price!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blyer.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Price plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Rocky Blyer has been cut.
Price's coach down at Condor Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Price's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Price misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A combination from Blyer does no damage.
Price just misses with a punch to the body.
Blyer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Price swings wildly with an uppercut but Blyer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Price lands a hook to the side of the head.
Price is trying to break free.
Blyer tries a body shot but Price blocks it.
Blyer misses with the head strike.
Price throws a punch but it's blocked by Blyer.
The referee calls for Blyer to work.
Price blocks a body shot from Blyer.
Blyer lands an uppercut.
Blyer misses with a punch on the inside.
Price taking a breather.
Blyer struggles to land a body shot inside as Price controls his hands.

Price throws a knee to the head but misses.

Price is pushing Blyer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Blyer is pressed up against the cage. Price has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blyer down to the mat. Blyer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Price looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Blyer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Price.

Tommy Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Price swings for the body but Blyer moves out of range.
Price throws a looping overhand right but Blyer ducks down to avoid it.
Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blyer circles away quickly and effectively.
Blyer was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Price lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Blyer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Price moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Price thows a left - swing and a miss!
An attempted straight right counter from Blyer misses the target.
Price uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blyer.
Blyer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Price goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Price dodges the punch combination from Blyer.
Price raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Price jabs Blyer to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Price lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Price throws a low kick but Blyer moves out of range easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Blyer. Price does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blyer takes a swing at Price's ribcage but misses.
Blyer throws a hook but Price avoids it easily.
Blyer is looking to wear down Price with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Price throws a shot to the body.
Price showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blyer.
Price appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Price darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Blyer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Blyer ducks right into an uppercut from Price.
Price throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Blyer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Price lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


Blyer is rocked!
Blyer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oh Blyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blyer misses with an uppercut.
Blyer seems to have got his legs back now.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Price throws a leg kick but Blyer sees it coming and moves out of range.
Price scores with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy Price dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Blyer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blyer lands with a shot to the body.
Price takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Price takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Blyer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Price sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Blyer lands a jab-cross combination.
An inside leg kick from Price misses.
Price takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Price. Blyer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blyer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Price scores with a sloppy right hand. Blyer should have avoided that one.
Price throws a wild body kick that Blyer sees coming a mile off.
Price goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Blyer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Blyer lands a glancing blow to the side of Price's head.
Price fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Blyer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Blyer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Price moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Price misses with a wild combination.
Rocky Blyer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Price looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Price moves into range and clinches up with Blyer.
Price has a couple of punches blocked by Blyer.
Price swings wildly with an uppercut but Blyer uses good head movement to avoid it.

Price escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blyer checks the leg kick nicely there.
Blyer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Price lands a high kick!
Blyer looks to land a left hand but Price moved out of range nicely.
Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blyer circles away quickly and effectively.
Price with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blyer to score with a decent uppercut.
Blyer moves out of range as Price throws a body kick.
Rocky Blyer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Price throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Oooooh!!! Blyer has knocked Price down with a huge combo! Blyer steps away and waves a wobbly Price back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Price is rocked!
Price moves away from the strike by Blyer.
Price is still on wobbly legs! Can Blyer finish him?
Price lands a nice shot that snaps Blyer's head back.
Price seems to have recovered his senses.
Blyer digs a good body shot into Price's ribs.
Blyer circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Price to the canvas! Price doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Blyer keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Blyer!
A very excited looking Rocky Blyer rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
