PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Bellchambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch but Bellchambers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bellchambers takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bellchambers has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Murphy is on him like a limpet, forcing Bellchambers back against the cage.

Bellchambers tightens his grip and picks Murphy up, before dumping him to the ground. Murphy manages to land in guard.

Bellchambers has control of Murphy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Murphy regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steve Bellchambers.
Well Bellchambers has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
