The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arantes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nasu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Arantes sprawling to the canvas! Arantes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nasu finish him?!
It looks like Edison Arantes has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nasu.
Nasu jabs Arantes to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nasu lands a big right hand that sends Arantes crashing to the mat! Nasu stays standing though and waves Arantes back to his feet!
Arantes is rocked!
Nasu fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Arantes square on the jaw! Damn, Arantes is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Katsumi Nasu!
