Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khabib Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchel Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Thompson's choice of entrance music: Smashing pumpkins - Disarm. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov gets tackled into the cage by Thompson. Thompson maintains the clinch.
Magamedov is trying to pull guard but Thompson has him pressed against the cage.
Magamedov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Magamedov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thompson dodges the punch combination from Magamedov.
Thompson misses with a hook.
Magamedov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Magamedov throws a lazy uppercut
and Thompson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Magamedov tries to keep at a distance but Thompson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Magamedov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thompson.
Magamedov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Thompson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Magamedov falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mitchel Thompson!
