The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Lesnar misses.
Doyle wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Doyle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lesnar drops Doyle with a beautiful combination! Doyle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lesnar is looking for the KO!

It looks like Barry Doyle has been cut.
Lesnar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Doyle moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doyle lands a nice knee to the body.
Lesnar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Doyle has him pressed against the cage.

Doyle manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar misses with a head kick.
Doyle misses with a double jab.

Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lesnar misses with a few strikes there.

Doyle appears to be looking for a big counter.

Lesnar drives through and clinches with Doyle against the cage.
Doyle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lesnar walks away with a smile on his face. Doyle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Doyle gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Doyle tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Lesnar is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Doyle buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Doyle!! Doyle is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Lesnar throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
