The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira misses with a hook. Dono ducked under it nicely.
Dono lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dono definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dono blocks a head kick by Ferreira.
Dono avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dono thows a left - swing and a miss!

Ferreira cracks Dono with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Dono lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ferreira circles away quickly and effectively.
Ferreira throws an overhand right that lands on Dono's shoulder, as Dono tries to avoid the shot.
Iswan Dono seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferreira tries a head kick but it misses.

Ferreira chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dono can pounce on him.

Dono tries to keep at a distance but Ferreira has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dono fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Ferreira has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dono is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Dono is trying to trip Ferreira. He has hold of a leg but Ferreira is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dono persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dono throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ferreira works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dono would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ferreira digs a good hook to Dono's body.
Dono throws a leg kick but Ferreira sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Ferreira is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Dono with a body shot.
Dono looks to score with a jab to the body but Ferreira is just out of range.

Ferreira lands a left and a right that send Dono crashing to the mat, dazed. Ferreira thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dono really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ferreira circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Dono tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Ferreira wins by KO!
