Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Mandana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jackson Colt has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jackson Colt seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandana tries for a takedown but Colt circles away easily
and Colt counters with a two punch combo.
No luck for Mandana with that takedown attempt.
Colt drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mandana sprawls and moves away.
Mandana shoots in and drives through. Colt sprawls well.
Colt is looking for a counter combo.
Jackson Colt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Mandana.

Mandana fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Colt to the ground. Mandana is now in Colt's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mandana shoots in looking for a takedown but Colt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mandana's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Colt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mandana on the ground.
Mandana seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Colt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
