PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Bitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Stig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bitzer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Have A Dream. The Stig is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ethan Bitzer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Stig!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Stig slams his shin into Bitzer's torso.
Bitzer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Stig has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Stig keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bitzer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stig stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bitzer lands a jab to Stig's midsection.
Bitzer on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Stig.
Stig fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bitzer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bitzer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bitzer throws a body shot but no joy.
Stig lands a glancing blow to the side of Bitzer's head.

It looks like Ethan Bitzer has been cut.
Bitzer takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bitzer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bitzer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stig lands a nice shot to the body.
Bitzer throws a nice looking combination but Stig bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stig throws out a counter right but Bitzer avoids it with no problem.
Bitzer takes a swing at Stig's ribcage but misses.
Bitzer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stig moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stig moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Stig with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stig ducks under a wild hook from Bitzer.
Bitzer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Bitzer is rocked!
Stig is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Stig fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bitzer.
Bitzer misses with a straight left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bitzer thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bitzer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stig scores with a jab.
Oh Bitzer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stig throws an overhand right that drops Bitzer like a sack of potatoes! Stig dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Stig!
The Stig spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Ethan Bitzer was interviewed post fight and said 'best 2 of 3?'.
