The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwood looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lykourgos misses with a takedown attempt
and Blackwood counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nice uppercut lands for Blackwood. That snapped Lykourgos's head back.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Blackwood connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Blackwood lands with a hook. Lykourgos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Blackwood fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lykourgos.
Lykourgos misses with a takedown attempt - Blackwood sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lykourgos misses with a series of wild punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blackwood is working Lykourgos over against the cage.
Blackwood lands a shoulder strike.
Blackwood scores with a shot to the side of Lykourgos's head.
Blackwood scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Blackwood makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Blackwood scores with a nice hook to the head.
Blackwood creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lykourgos with a big uppercut! Lykourgos tries to clinch up but Blackwood pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lykourgos to the mat! Lykourgos covers up and Blackwood unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
