Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Honza Kucera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Ing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Honza Kucera!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett Ing!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kucera shoots in looking for a takedown but Ing manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kucera's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kucera tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ing swivels and escapes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ing! But no joy.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kucera. Ing shrugs it off though.
Brett Ing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ing jabs Kucera right on the nose. Kucera blinks but takes it well.

Kucera is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ing knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ing for a finish.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kucera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ing looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kucera is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ing knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
