Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Daniels has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Watts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Watts swivels and escapes.
Daniels misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jack Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Daniels scores a takedown into full mount!
Watts is working to get back to half guard.
Daniels tries to control but Watts wriggling away.
Watts is desperately trying to improve his position but Daniels has a good base and remains in mount.
Daniels looking to control but Watts is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Daniels has hold of Watts's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Watts manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Daniels has control of Watts's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Watts regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Daniels wants to finish this one by submission but Watts is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Daniels.

Watts keeping moving, preventing Daniels from controlling successfully.

Watts looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Daniels puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Daniels is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Watts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Daniels.
Daniels wants to take a breather but Watts is having none of it.

Daniels looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Daniels is pressing down on Watts's thigh, looking to free his foot. Watts is holding on for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Daniels has a takedown stuffed.
Ken Watts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Daniels.
Daniels shoots in looking for a takedown. Watts tries to sprawl out of it but Daniels keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Watts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Daniels darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Watts gets caught flat footed, as Daniels shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Daniels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watts swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Watts can't keep his opponent in guard - Daniels advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Watts is looking for a sweep. Daniels is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Watts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Daniels fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Watts sprawls well initially but Daniels persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
