Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gypsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Gatmaitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andres Gatmaitan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andres Gatmaitan!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatmaitan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gypsy was well out of range. Poor timing from Gatmaitan.
Gypsy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gatmaitan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Gypsy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gypsy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Gypsy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gypsy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gypsy manages to end up in side control.

Gypsy has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gatmaitan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gypsy yanks on the arm and Gatmaitan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gypsy.

Carlos Gypsy spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
