Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eliah Marshal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sensei kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy. Marshal has chosen Straigh Outta Compton as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sensei cracks Marshal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Sensei walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sensei on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

It looked like Sensei was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Marshal.
Marshal fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Sensei throws a head kick that misses.
Marshal tries to clinch but Sensei is having none of it.
A little feinted left hand from Sensei on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sensei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sensei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marshal.
A quick step to the side and Sensei tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marshal is looking to chop away at Sensei's legs.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marshal, right into the meat.

Marshal pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sensei is out of range and Marshal settles back down.
It looked like Sensei wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sensei takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sensei is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Marshal works the jab nicely.
Sensei looks to land a right hand but Marshal moved out of range.

Marshal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sensei moves away.

That kick from Marshal tenderised Sensei's leg. Sensei is trying to keep his angry face on.
Marshal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sensei.
Marshal throws a jab but it's blocked by Sensei.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eliah Marshal dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Sensei might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Marshal connects with a leg kick. Sensei looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Good leg kick by Marshal there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Marshal in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sensei lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marshal has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marshal and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Marshal pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Marshal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sensei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sensei is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Eliah Marshal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Sensei lands a big head kick that sends Marshal tumbling to the mat! Sensei takes a step backwards and waves Marshal back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The crowd cheers as Marshal lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sensei doesn't seem phased though.

Marshal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Marshal fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sensei is out of range.
Sensei appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sensei avoids a punch combination nicely.

Well Marshal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
