The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Maslow misses
and Ritzik connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Maslow misses with a body kick.
Ritzik misses with a straight left.
Ritzik throws a poor cross that misses
and Maslow counters with a nice kick to the body.
Maslow pushes Ritzik up against the cage in a clinch.
Maslow wants to stall.
Ritzik struggles to land a body shot inside as Maslow controls his hands.
Maslow fails to pull guard.
Ritzik tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ritzik has a couple of punches blocked by Maslow.
Maslow lands with a short punch from the clinch.
It looks like Rupert Ritzik has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Maslow.
Maslow lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ritzik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maslow thows a body kick. Ritzik tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Maslow has closed the distance and engaged Ritzik in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ritzik takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maslow pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Maslow misses with a body punch.
Ritzik wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Maslow has him pressed against the cage.
Ritzik can't find room to land a body shot as Maslow controls the action.
Maslow swings wildly with an uppercut but Ritzik uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ritzik misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ritzik breaks the clinch.
A shot to the liver by Maslow. Beautiful body shot.
Maslow thumps Ritzik with a low kick.
A slow jab from Ritzik misses its intended target.
Ritzik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maslow sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ritzik misses with a right hand
enabling Maslow to counter with a crisp jab.
Maslow dips to his left and cracks Ritzik with an uppercut!
Ritzik moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A good leg kick by Maslow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ritzik swats away the attempt to clinch by Maslow.
Ritzik jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ritzik on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ritzik is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maslow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ritzik.
Maslow scores with a hook to the body. Ritzik takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Maslow throws a body shot but no joy.
Ritzik doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Maslow keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A lazy left from Maslow finds it's target.
That has opened up Rupert Ritzik's cut even more.
Maslow punishes Ritzik's body with a nice straight punch.
Ritzik on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Maslow. Maslow obviously looking to wear him down.
Maslow connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ritzik's hands.
Vladislav Maslow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice straight punches there by Maslow. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Maslow.
Ritzik is rocked!
The cut above Rupert Ritzik's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ritzik gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Maslow points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Ritzik wakes up just in time to hear Maslow thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
